At Mount Vista Family Dental, we are able to provide our patients with dental implants. A dental implant is a biocompatible titanium metal device that closely resembles a screw. This is similar to other reconstructive metal devices that are used by orthopedic surgeons when piecing broken bones together. Dr. Hiller is able to insert four of these devices directly into the patients jawbone providing a strong base system to serve as a roots for your new artificial teeth. Once you have healed from this procedure, Dr. Hiller will then attach the all-on-4 system to the implants, giving you a strong, permanent false teeth that will never decay. You might forget that they are even there.
Dental Implants is a process that can be done for one or multiple missing teeth. Additionally, we are able to provide an entire mouth full of teeth using the dental implant system. By screwing four (4) carefully planned dental implants, Dr. Hiller is able to place a denture of false teeth. This will allow the patient to have permanently attached false teeth that will never decay, never need a root canal, and be able to eat foods that they would not be able to with a traditional denture. There is never a worry about them becoming loose or falling out of your mouth. Implant placed dentures are designed to never need to be removed and they are much smaller in size than traditional dentures, because they are not held in using suction.
At Mount Vista Family Dental, we call this restorative solution Teeth-in-a-day™ with All-on-4® Treatment Concept. Teeth-in-a-day™ with the All-on-4® Treatment Concept is less expensive than many other options and you can receive an entire arch of teeth in one day. Teeth-in-a-day™ are made possible by the angle in which the implants are placed in bone, two of the dental implants are placed at 90-degrees and two dental implants are positioned at 45-degree angles.
All-On-4® Treatment Concept Process
Dr. Hiller will evaluate using digital images of your bone structure and your past medical history to ensure that you are a candidate for this procedure.
Using molds or impressions, Dr. Hiller will send all information needed to a dental laboratory to fabricate your Teeth-in-a-day™ prosthesis.
3. Remove & Implant
On surgery day, Dr. Hiller will remove any remaining unhealthy teeth. He will then surgically place the Teeth-in-a-day™ hybrid prosthesis into your new implants. You leave our office with a strong, secure smile that will make you feel beautiful!
4. Permanent Teeth
About six months after surgery, once healing has occurred, Dr. Hiller will remove the interim Teeth-in-a-day™ prosthesis. He will place The Tooth-in-a-day titanium reinforced final prosthesis into your fully healed and strong dental implants. You should never need to remove your new set of false teeth again.
What Are the Benefits of Teeth-in-a-Day™ With All-on-4® Treatment Concept Dental implants?
Teeth-in-a-day™ with All-on-4® Treatment Concept dental implants is an exciting and extremely effective treatment for patients with multiple unhealthy or missing teeth. Dr. Hiller secures an entire arch of false teeth on the day the implants are placed. Due to fewer office visits, this treatment is viewed as being much more economical that most other teeth replacement options, including crowns or bridges. The angle of the rear dental implants eliminates the need for bone grafting in situations where bone has atrophied. This means that most patients’ bone density is suitable for Teeth-in-a-day™ All-on-4® Treatment Concept.
